The Children of Men - P.D. James The premise and plot of this were terrific, but the development was clumsy and preposterous. A future of infertility strained credibility less than the way this novel unfolded. Not to say I didn't enjoy it. I do wish I hadn't seen the movie, even though the movie was inferior. How'd they get all that violence out of this book?
